I am excited to apply for the Founding Engineer position at Inlet. With over 20 years of experience in software development, I have worked on a wide range of systems and technologies, from financial platforms and business applications to connected devices. I enjoy solving problems, building reliable software, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

At Stack’s Bowers Galleries, I develop and maintain websites, business applications, APIs, and systems that support auctions, online marketplaces, invoicing, payments, and tax processing. My responsibilities cover both frontend and backend development, database management, third-party integrations, and deployment automation. I also troubleshoot production issues and work closely with other teams to improve existing systems and deliver new features.

Earlier in my career, I was the first web developer at PicPay, where I helped build the company's initial web systems and administrative tools. Having experienced the early stages of a company that later grew into a major financial technology platform, I understand the importance of being adaptable, making practical decisions, and building software that can grow with the business.

What interests me most about Inlet is:

The opportunity to help build a product that solves real problems for legal professionals. I particularly enjoy turning complex processes into simple, reliable, and easy-to-use applications. Although I would need to become familiar with some of the technologies and processes specific to your product, I am confident in my ability to learn quickly and contribute from the beginning.
